FPGA Tutorial Video Published on Youtube
Yesterday I published a video going over the concept and application of FPGAs. The video is over 40 minutes long and is intended to be useful to hobbyists that do not know much about FPGAs, but would like to get started in them.
The video first goes over the concept of FPGAs and HDLs. Then I give some board recommendations to what are good boards to hobbyists to buy to get started. Finally I provide a complete step by step guide installing the necessary software, then opening the project and creating the HDL code necessary to get a basic system running on the board. In the step by step, I talk through each line of code.
